Pastor Rick Ragle graduated from Point Loma Nazarene Univerity with a B.A degree in Biblical Literature and a certificate in Youth Ministries. He continued his education at Nazarene Theological Seminary where he graduated with Masters of Divinity degree and a Masters of Religious Education. He came to Hawaii in 1985 where he served as a youth minister for 7 years in Kaneohe Oahu at the Windward Church of the Nazarene, moving to Hilo in 1992. He has pastored the Hilo Church of the Nazarene for the past 22 years. He serves on various district committies as well as serving as the chair of east Hawaii VOAD (Voluntary Organizations Active in Distaster). He has been married to his wife Gail since 1978 and they have one son currently attending University of Hawaii at Hilo.
